I have over a decade of experice in the wedding industry. From running my own cake company for years in Eastern Washington, to assisting a wedding planner and as more recently photographing small weddings & elopements! Adventure Elopements: Let’s start with what an elopement truly is. Two lovers (sometimes spontaneously) coming together to get married in a very intimate setting. Usually it’s just the two of them and an officiant. It’s not always a secret and
should never be looked down on!
Now, let’s add a little spice…. This is where I come in! Adventure elopements vary from traditional ones because you get to add in a big adventure! Mountain tops, lakeside or on the coast, that special location you both choose adds that extra element to your love story! **They often require a bit more planning when permits are required.** Couples usually opt to host a large party or reception at a later date where they can invite their loved ones to celebrate their new union!

what’s the difference?
Micro Weddings: Wanting a few loved ones there when you declare your undying love? A micro wedding may be the option for you!! A micro wedding has the freedom to take place anywhere, indoors, outdoors even out in the middle of the ocean! This allows for you both to invite a few guests to attend. Micro weddings have elements that mirror larger traditional weddings, such as a small bridal party, or seperate ceremony/reception locations. Depending on where you look you may get some varied responses but most agree a micro wedding doesn’t have more than 20 guests in attendance.
Whichever route you decide is best for you both, I’m here for it!
